About Us

Missions Network seeks to answer this question "What is a missionary?" and seeks to answer it with the help of who else, but the missionary community, with real life examples of lives given for Christ's service  and lives changed for the Kingdom of God. To Report on the work of The Great Commission,

“All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Go, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things which I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.  Mat. 27:19-20

Missions Network is a place for you, the missionary, aspiring missionary, or anyone interested in missions and the "Great Commision" of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Statement of Faith

God
There is one God, holy, righteous, and just, who exists eternally as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. He is Creator, sovereign and ruler of all things, wether visible or invisible.

The Son
Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, was incarnate in flesh, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. He preached the Kingdom of God and proved who he is by his words, miracles and resurrection from the dead.He was crucified on the crossfor an atonement for the sins of mankind. In His death and bodily resurrection, Jesus Christ opened the way of rescue from sin and death, reconciling the believer to God. Christ continues to intercede before his Father on behalf of His people.

The Bible
The Holy Bible is God's inerrant and inspired word and is comprised of both the Old and New Testaments.

The Human Race
Human beings, mankind, alone, both male and female, were created in the image of God. God intends that all people are made to enjoy relationship with Him, with each another, and with His creation and of which we are stewards. Adam and Eves disobedience in the Garden of Eden has separated mankind from God, bringing sin, guilt, depravity and misery, and brought about His just judgment upon all humanity.

Grace
God's mercy and grace redeems all who repent of their sin and trust Jesus Christ alone for their salvation, justifying them through faith in the Saviour alone, restoring their relationship with Him, giving them new life by the Holy Spirit which then endwells the believer at the moment they believe, empowering them for discipleship.

The Church
The church occurs in local communities of believers all over the world. The Church is the Body of Christ, the people of God, and the fellowship of the Spirit, sent into the world to glorify Jesus Christ and to bear witness in word and deed to God's love, grace and judgement to come.

Judgement and Eternity
On a day that has been appointed, Jesus Christ will appear again as judge to raise the righteous unto eternal blessing and the unrighteous unto eternal separation from God. He will consummate His kingdom of peace, and His redeemed will enjoy everlasting life, reigning with Christ in the new heavens and the new earth.
